BulletTime #3

Much like Chris from Monday, I’ve been slammed, so I’ve condensed my thoughts in a way that is similar to Chris’, but totally different. You are now entering “BulletTime”

  • Geez, this year’s Cardinals might be the worst football team we’ve ever had in Phoenix, and we’ve had some doozies. I mean the 7-6 loss was pathetic in its own way mostly because both teams were so bad, but now with their 58-0 loss, it sure seems like they’ve just given up on the season. I’d frankly be surprised if they won another game this year. My how things have changed after a 4-0 start. And to think it all started with a missed field goal that hit off of the goalpost…
  • Where’s a great place to go on a honeymoon? That doesn’t cost about $10,000?
  • I finally feel like I’m getting into Christmas…15 days from the big day. My fiancé had our Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving night, but I haven’t felt it too much. But it finally got below 70 here in Phoenix, so I have to put on a long sleeve shirt. That obviously signals that CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE!
  • Did you know that today is 12-12-12? And did you also know that just about none of you will live to ever see another date where all three numbers are the same? It’s true. Sure there will be a 2-2-22 and a 3-3-33, but that doesn’t count. So enjoy today folks, you’ll literally never see it again.
  • I have never been able to understand how some people go out to eat, order a large plate of food, eat half of it, and then don’t take the rest home. I mean that’s at least 1 more meal that you’re just giving up, and about $5-$10 you’re just literally throwing away. Don’t give me that “oh it doesn’t taste as good heated up later” line either. I get ripped on the show all the time for being rich, and I eat leftovers all the time. I love it too. To me, it’s like I get to have a good restaurant meal two days in a row for the same price! If we’re out to eat and you don’t want the rest of your food, ask for a to-go box, and give it to me.
  • Or a homeless person, that might be a good strategy too if I’m not there.
  • As of Tuesday evening, the Lakers are 9-12 and currently getting blown out by Cleveland. I know that they don’t have Steve Nash, and Gasol is hurt, but their misery makes me so happy. So. So happy.
  • Overtime at work is fun when you get your paycheck, but while you do it? Yeah it sucks.
  • I know we don’t get too political on this site or this show, but this whole “fiscal cliff” thing? Yeah it’s ridiculous. I thought the whole reason a lot of people voted for Obama was because he “fought for the middle class” and wanted to help “the working American.” Well it’s looking like now that the middle class taxes will go up and homeowners will lose their ability to deduct their mortgage interest from their taxes. Yay! I’m not saying anyone else could do a better job, but I just am surprised at how much of a free pass this current president gets.

I think when I get political, it’s time to end this post. Merry Christmas everyone!
